I too have heard good things about the LeapFrog Letter Factory. In fact, my neighbor "accidentally" taught her son to read with it, and he's as sharp as a whistle. I'll have to check it out. I guess the best things aren't on Netflix. 🙂

I hadn't heard about MonkiSee before but will take a look now.

I also wasn't too impressed with the LeapFrog Phonics Farm DVD. LeapFrog does have another DVD which I would recommend for learning the letter sounds, LeapFrog Letter Factory.

I would also recommend the Wee Sing & Learn ABC iPad App for learning the letters.
