Professional Mothering Blog

Welcome to our mothering blog. The Professional Mothering Blog keeps you up-to-date with all additions and changes to the professional-mothering.com web site.

Taking a break...

I just wanted to inform my readers who may be expecting new posts: My family is moving right now, and when that's done, I'm due to have my next baby in less than 7 weeks. We are excited about these changes in our life, but it does mean that I will be very busy! I will resume blogging at the end of September. I will announce when the baby arrives, and whether it's a boy or a girl.

Also, I am changing my web-hosting for this site, so expect some changes and perhaps a few glitches as the conversion takes place.

Preschool Curriculum

Sharing insights into our preschool curriculum, how I organize our preschool, and sharing some preschool forms planning sheets, and charts that I have created to help me focus.

Sign Language

Teaching our children sign language has been very rewarding for our family as we have been able to communicate easier and earlier than we would have otherwise.

Family Home Evening

One of our favorite traditions is to have a weekly family home evening, usually on Mondays, to spend time together in family worship.

Flower Crowns

Spring is here, and what better way to let your children enjoy the flora then to let them wear flower crowns?

Easy Granola

This easy granola recipe is one of my favorites to make because I can use the 10 minutes baking time to get the kids ready for breakfast. Perfect and delicious!

PVC Pipe Activity

The objective of the PVC pipe activity is to build free-standing structures in any way the children choose. What a fun way to build spatial reasoning skills!
